During the spring, New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team members conducted a narcotics investigation in Port Chester, which determined that local resident Fintan Russell was “heavily involved in the sale and distribution of cocaine" in southern Westchester as well as Fairfield County.
On June 5, investigators executed a search warrant at the 39-year-old’s Sound View Street home in Port Chester, where they found the half kilogram of cocaine - with a street value of approximately $46,000 - $23,000 in cash and three vehicles were seized. At the same time, Russell was arrested by police at a different location.
Russell was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies.
He was arraigned in the Village of Port Chester Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
